Digiweb Drive to fill 40 permanent jobs by Summer
- 40 new full time permanent positions to be filled by the end of August
- Digiweb on schedule to fill 200 new jobs
- 70 new hires to date in 2008
- New Recruitment drive is due to a mobile broadband expansion, hosting services development and entering new markets
Digiweb today announced that its plans to fill over 200 knowledge based jobs over 3 years are being brought forward due to large expansion plans.
Digiweb first announced the significant recruitment drive for over 200 new staff in March 2007 following the launch of their new Data Centre and Blanchardstown Offices. Digiweb are delighted to be exceeding recruitment timeframes and increasing job creation as part of their progressive expansion in an era that is feeling the affects of the global credit crunch and recent reports of redundancies and job losses in many similar industries across the sector. Digiweb have recruited more than 70 new staff so far in 2008 alone as part of their recruitment drive to fill technical, accounting, customer service and sales positions. Digiweb currently have over 40 vacant positions mainly in IT and Sales that they would like to fill over the summer months. These positions are primarily based at Digiweb’s Blanchardstown, Waterford and Dundalk Offices. Commenting on this announcement, Colm Piercy, Digiweb CEO, stated
