New jobs for NI – Fujitsu creates 150 new jobs in Belfast & Derry
Fujitsu Services has announced that it will create a further 150 jobs in Northern Ireland as part of a Stg11 million investment programme. These new jobs will be created in Belfast and Derry. 120 of the jobs will be created at an Applications Services Centre in Derry while a further 30 jobs will be created at Fujitsu’s present operations in Belfast. The new jobs will be created in key areas such as IT, technical support and application management. The announcement will mean that Fujitsu Services will employ over 900 staff in the region.
The IT services company will invest STG9m and Invest NI will invest STG2m as part of the new project. This latest investment follows previous investments with a combined value of over Stg20 million since 2007 creating over 400 new jobs.
