Ward closure and lack of recruitment = 300m euro HSE cutbacks.
Recent closures in wards in Midwest and lack of recruitment have sparked fears that plans to cut 300m euro in spending has already started to bite.
It is claimed that serveral wards in Ennis and Limerick are closed. It is also claimed that over 60 nurses are required for Limerick, Ennis and Nenagh.
I though the existing service was already creaking with the pressure – never mind these latest developments.
