MS Office Award – Recognised Microsoft Qualification – Ireland
All we hear today is talk about “continual learning” and “up-skilling”. I guess this is the PR engine of Education & Training providers working overtime. It could also be argued that this is also linked to the current climate and job market in Ireland. There are many people who have lost their job and there are many more fearful and qualifications is often seen as a way of getting back into employment or potentially holding onto employment.
Question: What would be a good qualification get?
Answer: Depends what you want to do with your career.
I came across a qualification the other day – MS Office 2007 Award – which is the offical award from Microsoft and recognised internationally. It seemed well priced however we can offer it cheaper through our website (yes we do get a small cut!!).
Now many of you will be saying it won’t enhance my skills or CV. Unless you are a Graduate or in an Administration based role you might be right. I would point out that many other professional roles require Excel and Powerpoint.
I believe that when “Strong IT skills” is replaced with a formal qualification it sends out a stronger message to the reader of your CV.
Anyway if you are interested in acquiring this MS Office 2007 qualification click here.
