Just as I thought there was no interesting job news today.
Siemens will slash 7000 jobs globally as it moves from hardware provider to a software/solutions provider. Fortunately the 1100 Irish employees will be safe for now.
Siemens has 3 locations in Ireland – Dublin, Cork and Belfast. The Siemens Group in Ireland includes Siemens Business Services, Siemens Limited, Siemens Research Ireland, Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Osram.
