Worky.com – Irish Jobs Site
The Good news is the launch of a new Irish Job Site: Worky. Worky seems to be a bit different than the traditional Jobs Sites in Ireland. YOU cannot search for a job or apply for a job there. What you do is you publish a profile and hope that someone will be interested in you. A bit like LinkedIN, where you publish your LinkedIN Profile, and wait for the employers to headhunt you. Worky is a new site, and you will not really be hired the same day you publish you profile, especially with the current recession climate. If you really need a job now, any of the leading Irish Jobs Sites is a safer bet.
LinkedIN is where you should invest some time if you have not already and when the recession is over your profile there will help you be found by the recruiters and headhunted.
And there is Worky being advertised extensively offline. So this might capture the Employers who do not use the Internet for their recruitment. The question is, how will they find you profile on the Internet if they do not use it?
